How to enable PiP on iPhone running iOS 15

Picture in Picture mode is one of the useful features available on Android. It has also been made available on iOS 15 but is limited to YouTube Premium subscribers in the US.

There is a trick you can use if you want to use PiP mode on your iPhone for YouTube and other platforms. Here you will know how to enable Picture in Picture on iOS 15.

The workaround will not enable PiP on the YouTube app, but you can PiP YouTube videos from Safari. YouTube is slowly rolling out PiP, but till then you can use this trick.

At first, you need to download an app, called, Pipifier. It's freely available on the App Store.

Let's Begin!

Now open the Safari web browser and tap on "aA"  icon from address bar, now tap on Manage Extensions options and turn the toggle on for Pipifier extension.

All done? Head over to the video you want to watch in PiP mode. Now again tap on "aA" icon and then tap on Pipifier to enable PiP mode.

Some users have mentioned that it works without extension by switching to desktop mode and when the video is playing, go to homescreen. It didn’t work in our case.
