Whenever you put your iPhone on charging, you hear a pleasant beep sound for confirmation. Do you know there's a workaround by which you can change the default charging sound.

And the best thing is, you can do it without installing any third-party app. Let's see how to change or customize the charging sound on iPhone.
First things first, open Shortcuts app, then create a new personal automation. Scroll down a bit and tap Charger option, and use Is Connected for action.

Now tap on Add Action, then search for Music, you can pick a song, playlist, radio station, and more. I'm picking a song for this tutorial.

Disable the toggle for Ask before running. Now whenever you put your iPhone to charging, it will play the song.

Alternatively, you can use the Speak automation. This function uses Siri to Speak out to the text you'd love to listen.

In this case, I'm adding this text "Charger is connected". Don't forgot to turn off toggle for Ask before running.

Now you can get a charging confirmation from Siri. The functionality is available for users running on iOS 14, iOS 15 or newer version.
