How to activate an eSIM on iPhone

Apple introduced eSIM with iPhone XS which allows users to enjoy dual-SIM service without any physical SIM. It is also used to get Dual SIM feature on iPhones.

If you are using a physical SIM and want to get dual SIM, you will have to use another service in the form of eSIM.

eSIM feature is available on iPhones XS and newer models. The iPhone must be running on iOS 12.1 or newer. It also requires an internet connection.

If your Carrier sends a notification when you go to get an eSIM, just click on settings Notification. Click on Add Cellular Plan. And then setup your eSIM.

If you got a QR code from Carrier, scan the code using camera and a notification will pop up. Click on it and then click on Add Cellular Plan. And then setup your eSIM.

Third method is using Carrier apps. Install and Open the official Carrier app and sign in. Go to eSIM activation and follow their instructions.
