Google Pixel 8a to adopt 120Hz Display

Google is close to releasing its next budget Pixel phone, the Pixel 8a at the upcoming I/O event.

The device has been spotted in leaks multiple times before, and a new leak has emerged now.

As per the exclusive report from Android Authority, Pixel 8a will feature specs close to the higher variant Pixel 8.

The Pixel 8a will feature a display of same size and resolution as Pixel 7a, but with 120Hz refresh rate and 1400 nits peak brightness.

Pixel 8a will come with DisplayPort output support which could work like Samsung DeX. It’s also available on Pixel 8 series but not fully enabled yet.

The camera hardware on Pixel 8a to remain same as Pixel 7a, but we could see improvement in processing and optimization.

Pixel 8a will come with Tensor G3 processor but it could be slightly different than Pixel 8 series.

Android Authority also predicts the device will be available in more regions.

According to previous leaks, Pixel 8a might cost more than Pixel 7a, and with the upgrades coming, it could be justified.
