The Pixel 7a is an affordable phone with a Pixel experience and is the successor to the Pixel 6a that is also available.

Google Pixel 7a is quite similar to the base variant of the Pixel 7 series. So let's look at the difference in specs between both the phones.

=> Pixel 7a: 6.1-inch (FHD+), 90Hz, HDR, Gorilla Glass 3 => Pixel 7: 6.3-inch FHD+, 90Hz, HDR10+, Gorilla Glass Victus

Display:

Both phones have Google Tensor G2 chip and Mali-G710 MP7 GPU. Tensor G2 is a 5nm SoC.

Processor:

=> Pixel 7a: 8GB and 128GB UFS3.1 => Pixel 7: 8GB and 128/256GB UFS 3.1

RAM & Storage:

=> Pixel 7a: 64MP + 13MP (Rear), 13MP (Front) => Pixel 7: 50MP + 12MP (Rear), 10.8MP (Front), More Software Feature

Camera:

=> Pixel 7a: 4385 mAh, 18W Wired, Wireless => Pixel 7: 4355 mAh, 20W Wired, 20W Wireless

Battery:

Pixel 7a is priced at $499 in the US whereas Pixel 7 price is $599. But you can get Pixel 7 at a much lower price near at $520.

Pricing:

In my opinion the Pixel 7 is the better option if you can get it for less than $550. It's almost a year old but still better than the Pixel 7a in many terms.
