At the Tech Summit event, Qualcomm announced its new Snapdragon flagship processor named Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC.

There are already some devices ready to launch with the new SoC. Here is the expected first set of devices with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC that may launch soon.

The new gen processor comes with many improvements in performance, battery life etc as compared to the Snapdragon 888 chipset.

Qualcomm mentioned in the press release that we may see commercial devices with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chip by the end of 2021.

Xiaomi 12 Series: Xiaomi has confirmed via Tweet that Xiaomi 12 will come with the new processor. This could be the first device with a new SoC, if not Moto X30.
