Last month, Apple announced the upcoming version of iPadOS for iPads. Since then, Apple has released two developer betas of iPadOS 17 for eligible iPads.
iPadOS 17 comes with many new features which makes it one of the biggest iPadOS 17 updates. Here are some top features.
This feature was missing in iPadOS 16, but now with iPadOS 17 it is finally coming to iPads. It will let users customize lock screen same as iPhones.
You will now be able to add widgets on the lock screen to make it more useful. It includes weather, time, date, battery levels and other widgets.
In iPadOS 17, audio messages are transcribed, allowing users to read the content of the message instead of listening to it in real-time.
All your stickers, emoji, Memoji will now be available at one place. And these all will be synced to all your devices using iCloud sync.
The new iPadOS version let users add 3D affects like hearts, confetti, fireworks which will appear and fill the camera frame when you show hand gesture in calls.
In Safari you will be able to create profiles where you can keep tabs with different topics separately for better management.
In iPadOS 17, autocorrected words will be underlined temporarily which users can change if they don’t find the autocorrected text useful.
