With iOS 17.4, Apple brings support for alternate app marketplace and more in EU to comply with terms of the Digital Markets Act (DMA).
Apple today officially outlined the upcoming iOS changes to comply with DMA in future.
The report reveals iPhone users will be able to switch to Android phones more easily in the European Union.
Apple says, “more user-friendly solutions” in works for transferring data from an iPhone to Android smartphone.
The document shared by Apple also reveals that user will be able to delete Safari from iPhone or iPad.
These changes are in works by Apple to comply with policies of the DMA in EU.
Although these upcoming changes are good, we don't know if Apple will bring these changes outside of the EU.
This is a much-needed change as users will not lose data when switching between phones running different OS.
