One major change or upgrade shared in every leak was the inclusion of solid state buttons in place of physical buttons on Pro models.

Ming-Chi Kuo, an Apple analyst, said in the latest Medium report that solid state buttons will not be a part of the upcoming iPhone 15 Pro models.

This is due to the unresolved technical issues before mass production. iPhone 15 Pro is still in EVT (Engineer Validation Test) stage, which means Apple can still modify design.

Kuo previously shared last October that solid state buttons that offer haptic feedback would be a part of Pro models.

This delay could be for a year, which means that Apple may bring solid state buttons on the iPhone 16 models next year.

Some other expected changes are Type C port, Dynamic Island on the non-Pro model, and more.
