Except Apple, almost every big tech company has entered the foldable phone market.

Apple usually takes time to adopt a new format. So it's no surprise that Apple hasn't released any foldables yet.

But that doesn't mean Apple won't be entering the foldable market. A new report suggests that Apple may launch a foldable in next few years.

According to The Elec report, Apple may release its first foldable in 2026 or 2027.

The foldable is going to feature 7 to 8 inch inner display.

Currently, Apple is testing display samples from Samsung and LG.

Samsung could be the primary supplier for foldable display once Apple decide for mass production.

Apple reportedly thinking about even bigger foldables (20.25"), but this will come after the release of 7-8 inch foldable.

It is also said that the 8-inch iPad Mini could be replaced by an upcoming foldable.
