Apple has finally launched its latest iPhone 16, which may seem like a good upgrade in some areas. But it still lacks some basic things.
Like every year, Apple has done injustice to the base model this year as well. Instead of adding essential features, Apple has added unnecessary features.
Here are three features that should be a crime not to include. These are not available on iPhone 16 non-Pro models.
Yes, the base iPhone model still stuck to a 60Hz display in 2024. Every year we think Apple will bump it up next year, but they don’t.
60Hz Refresh Rate
I use an Android phone with 120Hz and an iPhone with 60Hz, and I clearly see the difference in smoothness.
The iPhone 16 has Type C but it’s only a USB 2 which is way slower than USB 3 on iPhone 16 Pro. USB 3 is 20x faster than USB 2.
USB 2.0
AOD brings a premium factor to even budget phones. But Apple hasn’t included AOD in its base iPhone even in 2024.
No AOD
While many features are good, I can’t accept that Apple is making us pay for unnecessary things, while taking away essential features.
