watchOS 9.5.1 update goes live with bug fixes and improvements

Two weeks back, Apple kicked off watchOS 9.5, a gradual software upgrade for the Apple Watch. The update brings new watch faces, fixes, enhancements, and more. Today, the company has released another incremental upgrade for the watch in the form of the watchOS 9.5.1. Read along to know more about the watchOS 9.5.1 update.

Apple is pushing the watchOS 9.5.1 to the eligible watches with the 20T570 build number. It is a small update weighing only 91MB, yes, you can quickly install it on your Apple Watch. The new software is already available to the public. If you own an Apple Watch eligible with watchOS 9, then you can update your watch to the incremental upgrade.

Talking about the features and changes, then Apple is pushing watchOS 9.5.1 update with improvements and bug fixes. Apple didn’t share any details regarding the fixes in the release notes. How to install watchOS 9.5.1 update

iPhone owners need to upgrade to iOS 16.5 before installing watchOS 9.5.1 on the Apple Watch. You can check the new software both on your Watch or on the Apple Watch app on your iPhone. Here’s how you can upgrade your Apple Watch to the new watchOS 9.5.

  1. At first, open the Apple Watch app on your iPhone.
  2. Tap on My Watch.
  3. Then click on General > Software Update > Download and Install.
  4. Enter the password for confirmation.
  5. Tap on Agree to the terms and conditions.
  6. Once done, tap onย install.

Once you tap the install button, it will download and install the newest update on your Apple Watch. Once the installation process is completed, the watch will automatically reboot to the latest watchOS 9.5.1 update.
