watchOS 11.5 second beta is out for developers

Two weeks ago, Apple began beta testing the upcoming watchOS 11.5 update. The testing phase has progressed, and the second beta is now available for developers. The update is expected to bring system-wide enhancements.

watchOS 11.5 second beta is seeding with 22T5553d build number. The incremental upgrade weighs around 560MB in download size.

If you’re a developer, you can freely update your Apple Watch to the latest beta; if you’re a public beta tester, you need to wait a couple more days to get access to the update.

When it comes to changes, Apple didn’t mention any changes in the release notes. However, the upcoming software upgrade is expected to enhance the user experience on Apple Watch further.

Installing watchOS 11.5 Beta 2 on Apple Watch

First things first, you need to update your iPhone to iOS 18.5 beta. Once done, you can follow these steps to install the watchOS beta 2 on your watch.

  1. Open the Watch app on your iPhone.
  2. Tap General > Software Update.
  3. Select Beta Updates and enable watchOS 11 Developer Beta option.
  4. Go back and download the second beta of watchOS 11.5.
  5. Thatโ€™s it.

Make sure that your Apple Watch is charged at least 50% and connected to a WiFi network.

Now the watchOS 11.5 second beta update will download and transfer to your Apple Watch.
