Vivo Y51a starts getting Android 12 based Funtouch OS 12 update

Vivo announced the Android 12-centric Funtouch OS 12 skin in November last year. The company has already pushed the update to its premium flagship line phones – Vivo X60 and X70 series. Now the news comes out that, Vivo has started pushing the major update to the mid-ranger Vivo Y51a smartphone. Here you can check everything about Vivo Y51a Android 12 update.

Vivo Y51a smartphone was announced last January with Android 11 OS based on Funtouch OS 11. Now its a time for the first major OS upgrade, Yes, I am talking about the Funtouch OS 12. Yes, there are a couple of users on Twitter reportedly receiving the new OS update on the Vivo Y51a smartphone. At the time of writing, the update is in a rolling phase and will be available for everyone in the coming days.

Vivo is pushing the new update to Vivo Y51a with PD2050F_EX_6.71.16 software version number and weighs around 3.83GB in size. Obviously, it requires a big chunk of data for downloading.

Moving to the features, then the update is seeding with features like new widgets, nano music player, stickers, small windows, visual design with rounder corners across the system.
