Vivo X80 Pro receives stable Android 13 update with FuntouchOS 13

After months of testing, Vivo has finally kicked off the stable Android 13-based FuntouchOS 13 update for Vivo X80 Pro. In August, Vivo originally started testing its newest skin on the global variant of X80 Pro through a preview program. And now the owners of Vivo X80 Pro can upgrade their phone to the latest Android 13 OS. Read along to know all details about the Vivo X80 Pro FuntouchOS 13 rollout.

Vivo plants the new firmware with PD2185BF_EX_A_13.1.10.13.W30 software version number. Vivo released the X80 Pro with Android 12-based FuntouchOS 12 OS, so, yes, the device is getting its first-ever OS upgrade. And as it is a major upgrade, it requires more data compared to the monthly or quarterly incremental upgrades. As per the reports, the Android 13 OTA weighs a humongous 6.24GB in size, so make sure you have enough storage for both download and installation.

At the time of writing, the update OTA is weeding in India, it will also be released in other regions in a matter of time. Vivo is pushing the new update with the latest November 202 monthly security patch alongside the new features available on the FuntouchOS 13.

Talking about the changes, then Vivo X80 Pro Android 13 update comes with the features like more color palettes as we have seen in the stock Android 13, option to hide photos in the gallery app, brings new phone cooling features to the iManager, the ability to see the notification permission icon on the notification panel, and more. You can also expect the Android 13 essential features too.

Vivo X80 Pro owners can finally upgrade to the latest Android 13-centric FuntouchOS 13 OS, by navigating to Settings > System update, then check for the new updates, if there’s a new update available, then you can select the download and install option. In case the update is not available yet, then you can wait for a few more days.

Usually, Vivo and Oppo release software updates first to those running on the latest software version. So, make sure that your phone’s software is up to date, you can take a backup of the important stuff before updating your phone.
