Vivo has finally released the stable Android 12 for its latest flagship, Vivo X70 Pro+. Last month, the OEM started the Vivo X70 Pro+ Android 12 beta testing. And after some beta updates, the stable Android 12 for Vivo X70 Pro+ is here. It looks like the stable Android 12 for Vivo X70 Pro+ is currently rolling out in India.
Vivo X70 Pro+ is the first Vivo phone to get the stable Android 12 update that started on December 30 or 31. This is the latest flagship device from Vivo. The phone was released a couple of months back with Android 11 based Funtouch OS 12 out of the box. And so this is the first major update for the device.
Vivo X70 Pro+ Android 12 update carries build number PD2145F_EX_36.8.20. The update comes with over 5GB in size which is a lot for an update on a phone. So make sure you have enough data or update using WiFi.
The Android 12 update for Vivo X70 Pro+ comes with many new features and improvements. Some of the new features include improved widgets, RAM Extension, nano music player, app hibernation, approximate location, and various changes to the system UI. Unfortunately, we donโt have access to the full changelog, but once it is available we will update it.
Vivo X70 Pro+ Android 12 update is currently rolling out in India. This has been shared on Twitter by an Indian Youtuber Utsav Techie. If you are a Vivo X70 Pro+ user in India, you can expect the OTA update in a few days. It will be available in other regions too. In case you donโt get the notification, you can manually check for it under Settings > System Update.
Make sure you take a full backup prior to updating your phone. And also charge your phone to at least 50%.
