Now Vivo has officially confirmed the Android 12 rollout via Funtouch OS’s Twitter handle. For the time being, the update is available to select users, thanks to the grayscale testing program. If everything goes fine with this beta build, we can expect a stable rollout very soon.

Talking about the Vivo V20 SE, a user has confirmed the Android 12 update, although, he was complaining about the random app crashing issues on the newer version. At the time update is in a beta phase, so, you can expect a more stable build in the coming days.

Moving to the features, the Funtouch OS 12 update bags a bunch of new features the list includes new widgets, nano music player, stickers, small windows, visual design with rounder corners across the system, and other essential features available on Funtouch OS 12 custom skin. Apart from that, you can also expect updated monthly security patch and system-wide improvements. The changelog of the new update is not available to us yet. Now let’s take a look at how you can update your Vivo V17 or Vivo V20 SE to Android 12.

As I mentioned earlier, the update is available to select users, if you own any of the two Vivo phones and want to update to Android 12. Then, make sure that your phone is running on the newest available software. As the update is in the testing phase yet, you may encounter some bugs in this build, we don’t recommend updating your primary phone to these early builds of Funtouch OS 12.
