Vivo kick starts Origin OS Public Beta recruitment for Vivo Nex 3 (5G), X30 (Pro), and iQOO Neo

In November, last year, Vivo unveiled its new custom skin – Origin OS which is based on Android 11. The company also shared a detailed roadmap of Origin OS for China. And according to the timeline, the company is set to release the update in January 2021. The company has fulfilled its promise and started rolling out Origin OS update for a list of smartphones including Vivo Nex 3 and 3 5G, Vivo X30 and X30 Pro, along with the iQOO Neo and Neo 855 Racing Edition.

As for now, Vivo did not share any word about releasing the Origin OS update outside China. The first public beta recruitment program is also limited to the Chinese users only. Hopefully, the company will soon bring its latest skin to more countries. If you want to receive the latest Origin OS based Android 11 update on your Vivo smartphone, then make sure to update your smartphone to the latest version.

The first batch of public beta recruitment is update for six Vivo smartphone, here’s the list.

  • Vivo Nex 3
  • Vivo Nex 3 5G
  • Vivo X30
  • Vivo X30 Pro
  • iQOO Neo
  • iQOO Neo 855 Racing

The public beta recruitment program is live now and will run until January 27th. The latest beta build of Origin OS is based on Android 11. Obviously, it has the essential features of the Android 11. While the skin pack features like overhauled home screen UI, Interactive widgets, 26 new gestures, new wallpapers, icons, Multi-turbo 5.0, and much more. If you want to get access to these features, then you can update your smartphone to latest Origin OS via public beta program.

In case you want to participate to beta program, then make sure to update your smartphone to the latest software version. It requires a big chunk of data for downloading the update. You can apply to the beta program and taste the new features of Origin OS on your Vivo smartphone.

If the beta program is available on your device, then make sure to take a backup of data before upgrading your device to the latest software. Also, charge your smartphone to at least 30%, then update it to the Origin OS.
