Vivo rolls out Funtouch OS 11 based Android 11 Update for Vivo V17 in India

This month, Vivo is set to release the Funtouch OS 11 update to its four phones. And the company begins with the Vivo V17 smartphone. The device is reportedly receiving the latest Funtouch OS 11 based Android 11 update in India. Vivo’s most recent custom skin bags a slew of UI changes, improvements, and better privacy. The newer build on the Vivo V17 carries PD1948F_EX_A6.70.8 software version number. It has a whopping 3.43GB of size for downloading. The Vivo V17 was announced back in 2019 with Funtouch OS 9.0 based Android Pie 9.0 OS. Now this patch will directly bump up the software to Android 11. As for now, the company hasn’t shared any information about this update, but a number of users on social media, are allegedly getting the update on their Vivo V17 smartphone.

Like every other Funtouch OS 11 build, this patch also carries a list of new features. The update on Vivo V17 come with changes like intuitive UI, customizable AOD, Multi-turbo mode 4.0, rounded icons, and a few other changes as well. We can also expect a newer monthly security patch. If youโ€™ve not received the update on your smartphone, then you can check it manually by heading over to the system updates, then tap on check updates manually or you can wait for a few days. Before updating your smartphone, make sure toย take a backupย of important data. Also, make sure to charge your smartphone to at least 30%.
