Vivo iQOO 3 is getting Android 12 Beta Update

Android 13 is already in testing and will be released in a few months. But there are many mid range and older flagship phones which are yet to receive the Android 12 update. Vivo is also behind in this race. However, the OEM is slowly rolling out the update. iQOO 3 is now getting an Android 12 update but in beta. Read on to know more about Android 12 for iQOO 3.

As per feedback from iQOO 3 users, the beta testing started about a month ago. And many users have already received the update. Talking about its history, the iQOO 3 was released in 2020 so it’s already two years. It came with the Android 10 out of the box. And last year the device received Android 11 as its first major update. So the Android 12 will be the second and probably the last major update for iQOO 3.

The Android 12 Beta for iQOO 3 comes with build number 8.70.31. It is a big update and it weighs around 4GB. So make sure to use WiFi for update installation. Yes, it brings many changes and features as we expect from a major update. We will talk about it later, first let’s see what users have to say.

As per the feedback from users who already received the update, the Air triggers on Android 12 update are not working. Frequent camera notification even when not using it. These issues are available for more than a month. These are big issues even for the beta update or these issues should have been fixed by now.

The Android 12 update on iQOO 3 comes with system security improvements, Safety and Emergency feature, Extra Dim mode, new widgets, nano music player, stickers, small windows, visual design with rounder corners across the system, and many other features. We don’t have the access to complete changelog yet, but we will share it once it is available.

Also the stable build will be rolled out soon after the testing. You can expect the OTA update notification. If the notification is not working then you can manually check for the update in Settings.
