In September 2020, Realme announced its newest custom skin – Realme UI 2.0 (which is based on Android 11). And as per the official roll out timeline, the company is set to release its latest update for a list of Realme phones. Although, the testing is undergoing for a number of phones. But still, there are a list of phones which are pending to get the latest Realme UI 2.0 update.
Talking about this month, then according to Realme UI 2.0 roadmap, six phones will get the Android 11 update. Obvisouly, the update bags a slew of useful features, improvements, and improved security.
This month, Realme UI 2.0 will be available for Realme 6, Realme C12, Realme C15, Realme X2, Realme X3, and Realme X3 SuperZoom.
The company has recently started testing its latest skin on Realme 6 Pro, Realme 7, Realme X2 Pro, and Realme Narzo 20 Pro.
So, Realme UI 2.0 early access program for afore-listed six phones will go live by the end of this month. However, there are some possibilities, that the company may also release the update in the second or third week of this month.
In terms of features, then the six Realme phones to receive the newer Realme UI 2.0 update with new UI, including new AODs, notification panel, power menu, revamped home screen UI settings, enhanced dark mode, and much more. If you’re using any of these phones and waiting for the Realme UI 2.0 update, so your wait will be over by the end of this month. Your Realme smartphone will get Realme UI 2.0 based Android 11 update via early access program. In case you want to get access to the newer update, then make sure to update your device to the newest available software version.
As usual the early access will be available to the limited number of users and it is provided as a first come first serve basis. So, in case you’ll get the access to beta program and you’re eager to try the new skin, then here’s how you can join the Realme UI 2.0 early access program.
Open the Settings app on your Realme smartphone, then head over to the Software Update > Settings icon > apply for the Trial Version > enter the needed information. That’s it.
Before updating your device via special OTA, make sure to take a backup of important data. Also, charge your device to at least 50 percent. As I mentioned earlier, the update comes with a number of useful features, enhancements, along with the updated monthly security.
