Most smartphone brands are actively working on delivering the stable Android 15 update for their devices. Oppo is among these brands, having started early and already rolling out the update to many of its models. The Oppo Reno 12F and Oppo F27 are the latest phones to receive the Android 15-based stable ColorOS 15 update.
Last month, Oppo released its official rollout plan, and according to the roadmap, the company is right on schedule. After completing the rollout for devices planned in November, Oppo has now started rolling out updates for devices scheduled for December, with these two being the first to receive the update.
The stable ColorOS 15 update for the Oppo F27 is currently available for users in India while the stable update for the Oppo Reno12 F 5G is available in Malaysia.
Oppo is following a new process this year, they are first releasing the official version for the users who apply for it, after that it will be available without applying.
If you want to get the stable ColorOS 15 update right away, you can apply for it from settings and it will be available instantly. To get the update early, go to Settings > About device > Tap the top of the page > Tap icon on the top right > Trial versions > Official version > Apply Now.
Now check for updates and the latest stable ColorOS 15 update will appear which you can install on your phone. Don’t forget to backup your important data first.
