Samsung is working hard to release the stable Android 13 based One UI 5 update for its devices quickly. Already a bunch of Galaxy phones has received the Android 13 update and this is just the beginning. Galaxy Z Flip 3 and Galaxy Z Fold 3 are also getting the stable Android 13 update after long beta testing. Let’s find out more about the new update.
Earlier this month, Samsung shared the official One UI 5 roadmap for various regions. The update for both the Galaxy Z Flip 3 and Galaxy Z Fold 3 is scheduled for this month. And according to the roadmap, the stable Android 13 is finally rolling out to the third generation of foldable. A few days ago the update was also released for the fourth generation foldables.
The stable Android 13 update for Galaxy Z Flip 3 is rolling out with build number F711BXXU3DVK3 in India. And the latest update for Galaxy Z Fold 3 is now live with build number F926BXXU2DVK3 for beta testers. As usual, the update will be available to all users and all regions soon. This is the major update and weighs more than 2GB so make sure to download the update using WiFi.
This is going to be the second major update for both foldables as the last major update was Android 12 based on One UI 4. Talking about new features and changes the update brings a bunch of changes just like the Android 13 update for other devices. The update includes features such as faster animations, new and big widgets, new color palettes, new lock screen customization, new wallpapers, widget stacking, more Bixby routines, improved multitasking, and more.

If you are a Galaxy Z Flip 3 and Galaxy Z Fold 3 user in India, you will get the OTA update soon. Some of you might have already got the update. Users from other regions don’t have to wait much as it can release anytime. In case you don’t get update notifications on time, you can manually check for the update by going to Settings > Software Update > Download and Install.
Before updating your Samsung Galaxy to Android 13 based One UI 5, make sure to backup important data and charge your device to at least 50%.
