Sony has started rolling out the stable Android 15 update for its third phone. After the Xperia 1 VI and Xperia 1 V, Sony Xperia 5 V is the latest phone to get the stable Android 15 update.
Some users on Reddit claim to have already received the update. Fortunately, they have shared screenshots showcasing the technical details of the Android 15 update for the Xperia 5 V.
The latest major update for the Xperia 5 V comes with build number 67.2.A.2.41 and weighs around 1GB. The size is small compared to other major updates, this is because the Android 15 bring many new features or changes. There are some changes nonetheless.

Android 15 for Xperia 5 V – What’s New
You will get the following changes and features after updating your Xperia 5 V to Android 15.
- Private Space to keep apps in a separate space inside the app drawer
- Changes to Wallpaper & style setting
- Dashboard function in Side Sense
- New Quick settings panel and notification panel
- Audio sharing with Bluetooth LE Audio
- Other small changes
Compared to the last few Android OS updates, Android 15 brings only a small set of features. Many people have also expressed disappointment for this on forums.
