It looks like the Xperia 10 V is the second smartphone from Sony to get stable Android 14 update. Just last week Sony announced the Android 14 update for Xperia 1 V and it is still rolling out. Sony Xperia 10 V users also will soon be able to enjoy the new Android 14.

Unlike the Xperia 1 V update, Sony has not announced the update for Xperia 10 V yet, instead we found it on the firmware. But Sony might soon announce the update. As the firmware is now available, it is possible that the update might already be live in some regions. However we didn’t get confirmation yet.

The Android 14 is the new Android version released in October. Talking about stock Android 14 features, the update comes with many new features like Monochrome themes, flash notification, more customization options, Android phone as webcam, new battery settings page, even bigger fonts, improved privacy and security, and many other features.

However these are stock features and so some features might only be exclusive to Pixel phones. Since Sony uses custom UI just like other OEMs, so expect additional features apart from stock features. For example, Xperia 1 V received new improved bokeh mode, and Video creator app along with Android 14 update.

So make sure to check for update regularly. You can check for the update in System Settings under Settings. Once the update is available, create a backup and charge your phone to at least 50% before updating the device.
