Sharp Aquos Sense 6 gets a new Android 13 beta with bug fixes

Sharp originally started testing Android 13 on its Aquos Sense 6 smartphone with the developer preview build. The company has now released the fourth Android 13 beta with bug fixes and improvements. Sharp confirms that this is the final release in the testing program, yes, the next will be the stable build. Android 13 release is scheduled for the next month and you can expect the same for the Aquos Sense 6. Read along to know more about the fourth beta.

The latest beta comes out after two months after the third beta. Sharp addresses the “Cannot hear the sound through the connected bluetooth earphone” issue with the fourth beta release. The complete changelog is not available to us yet, but you can expect more stability and performance upgrades with the fourth beta. As the name indicates, the new build is based on the Android 13 beta 4 or beta 4.1.

Sharp plants the new beta on the Aquos Sense 6 running on Android 13 developer preview or older beta. If you’re running on the previous build, then you’ll get the update over the air. The latest build comes up with a newer monthly security patch version – July 2022. If you’ve updated your Sharp Aquos Sense 6 to the Android 13 developer preview or beta and want to install the latest incremental upgrade, then you can do it easily by using the Dynamic System Updates feature. You’ll receive an update notification once available on your phone, if you have not received it yet, then you can head over to the Settings > Developer Settings > DSU, then check for new updates. After downloading, restart your device.

After rebooting your phone, open the Join Developer Preview Program app, then tap on the three dots menu icon and load the fourth Android 13 beta and tap on install, once installed reboot your device.
