OnePlus recently rolled out the Android 12 update for the OnePlus 8 series, 8T series, and 9R. And the next phone in the line is OnePlus Nord. OnePlus launched the OxygenOS 12 open beta program a few weeks back. The device now gets its second open beta. Let’s see what’s new in OxygenOS 12 Open Beta 2 for OnePlus Nord.
The first OnePlus Nord is expected to get the Android 12 update before the Nord 2 and OnePlus 7T series. Talking about its recent update, the first open beta was released in India earlier this month and now the new OTA update is also being rolled out for users who have installed OOS 12 Open Beta.
Like other updates, OnePlus officials have shared it in the official forum. The Android 12 based OxygenOS 12 Open Beta 2 for OnePlus Nord comes with build number AC2001_11.F.10 in India. As of now, there is no news about its availability in other regions. Since it is an incremental update to Open Beta 1, it will not weigh more than the first beta.
The update comes with a bunch of fixes and improvements. Below you can check the full changelog shared by OnePlus. Remember the changelog also includes changes that were mentioned in the first open beta.

OxygenOS 12 Open Beta 2 for OnePlus Nord
OnePlus Nord users in India who have already installed the Open Beta 1 should receive the Oxygen OS 12 Open Beta 2 soon. The update will arrive as OTA that you can directly update from Settings. If you are on the OOS 11 build but want to test the Open Beta then first you need to install the Open Beta 1 using the local upgrade method (instructions available here). And then you will receive the Android 12 based OxygenOS 12 Open Beta 2.
Remember this is an Open beta which means there can be some bugs. So make sure you are aware of the risks. Also before upgrading charge your phone to at least 50% and take a full backup.
