Samsung releases second One UI 5 beta for Galaxy Note 20 Series

The second One UI 5 beta is now rolling out for the Galaxy Note 20 series. One UI 5 is based on Android 13 and brings a lot of new features. The beta update is already available on several Galaxy devices, including the Galaxy Note 20 series.

The first beta of the Note 20 series was released last week. And a week later, the One UI 5 beta 2 update is available for the Galaxy Note 20 series in the US. And in South Korea, the device gets its first beta.

Samsung announced that the stable One UI 5 will be released for the Galaxy S22 series by this month. And we can expect updates for other Galaxy devices in the coming months. The update will first be rolled out to devices that are in beta testing. The Galaxy Note 20 and Galaxy Note 20 Ultra are the flagship phones of the year 2020 and deserve a fast update. Samsung is on the right track and we are expecting the same update record as the last year

Earlier we shared a list of devices that are expected to get stable One UI 5 this year. Unfortunately, the Galaxy Note 20 series is not on the list. But since the beta testing is already in the progress, it could get the update in December or January as per my guess.

Samsung Galaxy Note 20 One UI 5.0 Beta 2 update in the US comes with build number ZVJ8. The latest beta update is focused on bug fixes. It fixes issues with autofocus in Pro mode video recording at 60fps. The update also improves device performance. We don’t have the complete changelog, but you can expect a bunch of other fixes and improvements.

If you have joined the One UI 5 beta program on your Galaxy Note 20 or Galaxy Note 20 Ultra, you will see the update on your device. The update is available over the air so it can take some time to show up for some users. You can manually check for the update by going to Settings > Software Update > Download and Install.

Before updating your phone, make sure to take backup of your phone and charge it to at least 50%.
