Samsung starts rolling stable Android 13 based One UI 5 to Galaxy Z Fold 4

After successfully releasing the anticipated One UI 5 update to the Galaxy S22, Galaxy S21, Galaxy S20, Galaxy Note 20, Galaxy A53, and Galaxy A33. Samsung has started rolling out the new Android 13-centric One UI 5 stable update to its more premium foldable smartphone – the Galaxy Z Fold 4. The update goes live after the news of the One UI 5 rollout for the Galaxy Z Flip 4. Yes, both foldable phones from Samsung have started receiving the new update. If you own the Galaxy Z Fold 4, then you can now upgrade your phone to the stable Android 13.

Samsung is pushing the new build to the Galaxy Z Fold 4 with the F936U1UEU1BVK3 firmware version. While the rollout for other Galaxy phones has been released on a large scale, but, that’s not the case for the foldable phones. Yes, currently, the upgrade is available for users who have opted for the One UI 5 beta program, if your phone is running on beta then you will receive the update earlier than users running on stable Android 12 build. The upgrade is already live for many Galaxy users and some users have shared the screenshots on social media platforms, here’s a screenshot shared by u/bdbx18 on Reddit.

As per the details shared by users, the upgrade is live in the US for the unlocked variant as well as for the AT&T, T-Mobile, and Verizon carrier-locked models, wider rollout should follow in the coming days in other regions. If you are already on the beta build, then the update weighs around 350MB in size. But if you are on the stable Android 12, then you can expect the file size to weigh anywhere between 1.5GB and 2GB or even higher than that. This build will knock up your foldable smartphone with a November 2022 monthly security patch and a bunch of new features.
