Samsung seeds One UI 3.1 based Android 11 Update for Galaxy A70s in India

For the past few days, Samsung has been working to release One UI 3.1 based Android 11 update for 2019 A-series phones. After successfully releasing the update for the Galaxy A40, Galaxy A50, Galaxy A50s, Galaxy A70, and the Galaxy A80. The company has started pushing the newer build to the Galaxy A70s. Yes, the Galaxy A70s can now access the features of latest One UI 3.1 based Android 11 update. Here you can check everything about Samsung Galaxy A70s Android 11 Update.

The update is currently seeding in India with A707FDDU3CUC6 software version number. We can expect a wider rollout very soon. As it is a major OS upgrade, it weighs around 2GB of download size which you can sideload by connecting your smartphone to the stable Wi-Fi network. The latest patch includes a bunch of new features, improvements, and newer March 2021 security patch.

Samsung Galaxy A70s was launched back in 2019 with Android Pie 9.0, later it received the Android 10 update. Now the device is receiving the One UI 3.1 based Android 11 update with a slew of new features. The list include features such as Private Share, Nearby Share, Samsung Free, Eye Comfort Shield, Remove location data, Auto Switch feature, along with a few other features.

It also carries the basic features of Android 11 such as dedicated conversation section in the notification section, new music player UI for quick settings, and more. As for now, the update changelog is not available to us, weโ€™ll add it once available.

One UI 3.1 based Android 11 Update now available for the Galaxy A70s. The update is rolling in a staged-manner which might take some time to reach every phone. You can check the software updates manually as there are some times when OTA notification doesnโ€™t arrive. You can head over to the Settings > Software Updates for manually checking the latest updates. It will show the available update so tap on download and install to get it on your phone.

Before upgrading your smartphone to the latest update, make sure to take a backup of important data. Also charge your smartphone to at least 50%.

If youโ€™re in a haste, then you can update your device manually using Firmware. You can download Galaxy Fold Firmware from Frija tool, SamFirm tool, Samsung Firmware Downloader, or SamMobile website. If you are using one of the tools then enter your model and country code and download the firmware. Once downloaded, you can flash the firmware using Odin Tool. That’s it.
