Samsung rolls out One UI 4.1 update to Galaxy S10, S20, Z Fold 2, and Note 10

For the past few days, Samsung is working on proving the latest One UI custom skin to the eligible phones. And now the company has expanded the availability of One UI 4.1 to more Galaxy phones. Yes, the update goes live for the Galaxy Z Fold 2, S10, S20, and Note 10 series. Obviously, it is a feature-packed update bag with some useful goodies and enhancements. In the initial phase, the OTA is seeding in select markets. FYI, the One UI 4.1 build for Galaxy S20 and Z Fold 2 is rolling in South Korea. Moving to the Galaxy S10 and Note 10, then the update goes live in the European countries, the wider rollout should follow in the coming days. Samsung plants the new firmware on Galaxy Z Fold 2 with the F916NKSU1FVC5 build number, the S20 series picks up the new update with the G98xNKSU1GVC3 software version, N97xFXXU7HVC6 for Note 10, G97xFXXUEHVC6 for S10, and G977BXXUBHVC6 for S10 5G.

It is a big upgrade, requires a huge amount of data for downloading, you connect your phone to a faster mobile internet or WiFi connection for faster downloading. Samsung is pushing the One UI 4.1 update with a slew of new features, improvements, fixes, and a newer March 2022 monthly security patch.

Moving to the features list, then the upgrade brings Google Duo live sharing feature, new image editing features including reflection and shadow eraser, share multiple files simultaneously using Quick Share feature, Grammarly integration to Samsung keyboard, and more features. As for now, the complete changelog is not available to us, but we’ll add it once available to us.

If you are using the Galaxy Z Fold 2, S10, S20, or Note 10, then you may have already received the update. If not then you can expect the update in a few days as it is a phased rollout that takes time to be available on all devices. You can check for the update manually by going to Settings > Software Update.
