Samsung releases One UI 6 Watch Beta 7 for Galaxy Watch 4 and 5

Samsung has been testing the One UI 6 Watch on the Galaxy Watch lineup for the past few months. Today, the Korean tech giant has released the seventh beta of One UI 6 Watch for Galaxy Watch 4 and 5. The gradual upgrade comes out a few days after the release of incremental beta for Galaxy Watch 6.

If you’re testing the One UI 6 Watch beta on your smartwatch, then you can now upgrade your Galaxy Watch 4/5 to the seventh beta for an even better experience.

At the time of writing, the latest beta update is seeding in Korea. The company has officially confirmed the release of the latest software upgrade on its community forum. If you reside in Korea, you may have already received the incremental upgrade on your Watch 6. Users in other regions may need to wait a little longer for the update to become available.

When it comes to the changes available on the latest software upgrade, then the gradual upgrade brings similar changes come with beta 8 on the Galaxy Watch 6. The update will address more bugs, battery consumption issues, network issues, optimizations for system performance, and more.

  • System stabilization and performance optimization
  • Improved consumption current issue of battery
  • Improved the issue of network interoperability
  • Many other improvements

As mentioned above, the update is available to beta testers. If you are not a beta tester, I will suggest waiting for the final release which is now quite close. Opting for the beta at this point will not make sense, so wait a little longer.

To manually update your Galaxy Watch, open Wearable app on your phone and go to Galaxy Watch > Watch settings > Watch software update > Download and install.
