One UI 6.1 is being rolled out more widely with the update now available for the entry-level Galaxy A14 5G. This is the first A series phone and the cheapest Galaxy phone to get the One UI 6.1 update so far.

Samsung started rolling out One UI 6.1 for budget phones a couple of weeks ago after rolling out the update for its premium phones. Recently Samsung released One UI 6.1 for Galaxy F54, Galaxy A53, Galaxy A73, Galaxy A33, Galaxy A54, Galaxy A34, and more.

One UI 6.1 for Galaxy A14 5G is rolling out in India and Indonesia. It is available with the build number A146PXXU7DXD3 and weighs more than a GB, so make sure to use WiFi to download the update. Thanks for the tip TechActivist666.

Similar to other budget phones, Galaxy A14 5G is also not eligible for Galaxy AI features. But still, there are so many new features that elevate the user experience. Along with new features, the update also brings the April 2024 Android Security Patch.

Here are some of the main features that you get on your Galaxy A14 5G after updating to the latest One UI 6.1.

  • Copy and paste from one image to another
  • Improved Gallery search like new Search Screen
  • Depth Effect Wallpapers and more editing features
  • Turn on and off modes from the Home screen
  • Easily Locate devices in the Samsung Find app
  • More information in the Weather widget
  • Voice input without leaving the keyboard
  • Sync Internet tab groups with other devices

These are some of the main features, but there are many other features.

If you own Galaxy A14 5G, you can expect the OTA update soon. As usual, the OTA update is rolling out in batches and it will take time for it to be available to everyone. Check for the update manually by going to Settings > Software Update > Download and Install. Make sure to take a backup of important data before installing the update.
