Samsung releases One UI 5.1 update for Galaxy A13 5G

Samsung has started rolling out the new One UI 5.1 skin to the Galaxy A13 5G. The incremental upgrade is seeding with a flurry of new features and enhancements. Read along to know more details about the rollout.

Samsung plants the new software on the Galaxy A13 5G with the A136BXXU3CWB3 software version number. The over-the-air update weighs around 1GB in size for download. Yes, it is a big upgrade compared to the security updates.

For the time being, the upgrade is available in a dozen of countries across Europe including Poland, Italy, Serbia, Croatia, Ireland, Slovenia, Austria, France, Switzerland, Czechia, the United Kingdom, and Portugal. A broader rollout should follow in the coming days. One UI 5.1 is rolling out in a staged manner, so, you can wait for a few days to receive the new update.

Samsung is rolling out the new One UI 5.1 for Galaxy A13 5G with a number of new features including updated stock apps, a battery widget, a dynamic weather widget, allows editing EXIF information of images and videos, a better camera and gallery including quick access to selfie features, support for family sharing album in the gallery, quick access to Expert RAW, and many more. The update also brings February 2023 monthly security patch.

The Galaxy A13 5G owners can now upgrade their smartphone to One UI 5.1 by navigating to the Settings > Software Upgrade > Download and Install, to check the new updates. As I said earlier, the update is in a rolling phase and will be available to everyone in the coming days, so you can wait for a few days to receive the OTA notification on your device.
