Just a few days ago, Samsung released the Android 12L based One UI 4.1.1 update for the Galaxy Tab S8 series. And now is the time for the Galaxy Tab S7 series. Yes, the major Android 12L software which was released with the Galaxy Z Fold 4 is now moving its way to the older eligible models. And if you own the Galaxy Tab S7, then you can now try out the new multitasking features on your tablet.
Samsung rolls out the new Android 12L based One UI 4.1.1 to the Galaxy Tab S7 with the T870XXU2CVH3 firmware version, while the Galaxy Tab S7 Plus receives the new software with a T970XXU2CVH3 version number. Currently, the OTA is seeding in countries of Europe and South Korea, it will be available to everyone in the coming days. Although, the changelog of the new update is not available yet, but the update bags a bunch of new features.
Samsung kicks off the new software with an updated August 2022 monthly security patch and new features. Moving to the changes, then the new update comes with the new multitasking features including the ability to switch between apps more quickly, the option to open apps in a split screen, easy switching between pop-view to switch-view, gestures support for view change, apps name are visible in the edge panel now, and more.
Apart from the multitasking features, the Android 12L update on Galaxy Tab S7 brings the anticipated extract text from images feature, new calling options, updated Samsung Keyboard, and other improvements. You can head over to this page to know more about the new features.
