Last month, Samsung kicked-off One UI 3.0 update for the Galaxy A71 5G. But the vanilla Galaxy A71 (4G) is still waiting for its first ever major update. Today, Samsung seeds its newest One UI 3.1 based Android 11 update to the Galaxy A71 (SM-A715F). The company has skipped the One UI 3.0 for Galaxy A71, however, the latest One UI 3.1 build bags a slew of new features and improvements. Here’s everything you need to know about Samsung Galaxy A71 Android 11 Update.

The software arrives on the Galaxy A71 with A715FXXU3BUB5 software version. Once you’ve received the OTA notification, you can sideload the newer build after downloading the 2.7GB airborne update. As it is a big update, you can use a stable Wi-Fi network to sideload it on your device. For the moment, the One UI 3.1 update for Galaxy A71 4G is live in Poland and Panama, hopefully, it will soon be available in other regions as well.

As it’s a first major OS update for the Galaxy A71 (4G), it comes with a bunch of new features. Talking about the details, then the update come with features such as Private Share, Nearby Share, Samsung Free, Eye Comfort Shield, Remove location data, Auto Switch feature, along with a few other features. It also packs the essentials of Android 11. As for now the complete changelog is not available, but we’ll add it once it is available to us.

Finally, the wait is over now, if you’re using the Galaxy A71 4G then you can now upgrade your smartphone to the Android 11 (One UI 3.1) update. Although, for the time being, the OTA is seeding in selected regions, but sooner it will be available for everyone. You can check the software updates manually as there are some times when OTA notification doesn’t arrive. You can head over to the Settings > Software Updates for manually checking the latest updates. It will show the available update so tap on download and install to get it on your phone.

If youโ€™re in a haste, then you can update your device manually using Firmware. You can download Galaxy Fold Firmware from Frija tool, SamFirm tool, or SamMobile website. If you are using one of the tools then enter your model and country code and download the firmware. Once downloaded, you can flash the firmware using Odin Tool. I recommend you take a backup prior to diving into the process. Thatโ€™s it.
