Samsung opens the One UI 4.0 beta program for Galaxy S10 series in South Korea

Yesterday, Samsung announced the Android 12 based One UI 4.0 beta program for the Galaxy Note 10 series in mainland South Korea. Now the company has expanded access of its fresh skin to more phones. Today, Samsung opens the One UI 4.0 beta program for the Galaxy S10 series. As of now, the access is limited to South Korea. Samsung is one of the fastest Android OEMs that have opened the beta testing of its Android 12-based custom skin – One UI 4.0. The company has released a stable build for the Galaxy S21 series last month and the beta builds to the Galaxy Z Fold 3, Flip 3, Note 20 series, S20 series, and now its a time for the S10 series.

For all the above-mentioned Galaxy phones, Samsung shared information via its Samsung Members app. The company is doing the same with Galaxy S10 this time, the Beta Operations Manager shared the news of the One UI 4.0 beta program for Galaxy S10. If you’re in a haste and want to try out the features of Android 12 centric One UI 4.0, then you can take a part in the beta program, by tapping on the One UI 4.0 beta program banner from the Samsung Members app.

Before diving into the steps to join the beta program, here’s your quick look at the One UI 4.0 features. It comes with features such as the new widgets, very smooth animations while opening and closing of apps, overhauled quick panel, automatic dark mode for wallpapers, icons, and illustrations, new charging animation, and much more.

How to update Galaxy S10 to One UI 4 Beta

Samsung Galaxy S10 line users can now upgrade their phones to the newest One UI 4 beta. If you want to update, then you can open the Samsung Members app (in case you don’t have the app then you can download it from Galaxy Store or Play Store), then tap on the One UI beta program banner or join from the Notice section. Simply, tap on the banner and then hit the enroll button.

All done? Now your Galaxy S10 will receive the One UI 4.0 (Android 12) beta update via special OTA within a few minutes. In case youโ€™ll not get the update notification, simply head over to the Settings app, navigate to Software updates and then download the newest software aka Android 12 beta.
