After several instances of uncertainty, Samsung has finally pulled the trigger and officially released the One UI 6 Beta for the Galaxy S23 series for real. Earlier this week, Samsung made multiple attempts to announce the beta program, but due to unforeseen circumstances, the company had to retract itsย announcements.
First the company accidentally announced the One UI 6 beta through their website in Germany and after a couple of days later accidentally announced the One UI 6 beta in the US. But it was removed both the times. The One UI 6 Beta is finally available for Galaxy S23 users in the US, Germany, and Korea.
The One UI 6 Beta was initially rumored to be released last month, before the Samsung Unpacked event. However, there was a significant delay, and now it has become available almost a month later than the originally rumored time.
Currently, the One UI 6 Beta is live in the mentioned three countries. Based on previous beta history, it is expected to become available in more regions soon, including the UK, India, Poland, and China. However, users from these regions might have to wait for a few weeks before the beta becomes accessible to them.
Also Samsung spotted testing One UI 6 internal beta on some other Galaxy devices including some mid range Galaxy A series devices. So it is possible that other phones will be joining the One UI 6 beta list soon.
Talking about changes and features the Samsung said One UI 6 will be more customizable. The One UI 6 comes with redesigned Quick Settings with blurred background. The new Quick Settings have some bigger toggles for easier controls. One UI 6 Beta also comes with many updated Samsung apps so it is possible that you may find new features in available Samsung apps.
If you are a Galaxy S23 series user in the US, Germany or Korea, you can opt for the One UI 6 Beta program.
