Samsung now released One UI 4.0 fourth beta for Galaxy Z Flip 3 and Fold 3

Two months back, Samsung initially started testing Android 12-centric One UI 4.0 skin on the Galaxy Z Flip 3 and Fold 3. Last week, the Korean tech giant pushed the stable version of One UI 4 for both foldables. But sadly, the stable builds are not much stable this time, yes, the Galaxy Z Flip 3 and Fold 3 users reported various issues after upgrading to One UI 4, some even claimed soft bricking while installing the update. So, now the company has released another beta build for both phones. Here’s everything about Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Flip 3 One UI 4.0 beta 4 update.

Samsung plants the incremental patch with the ZUL4 build number. As always, the information has been shared by the beta community manager on Samsung’s Members community forum and as per the details, the gradual release brings fixes to the issues that pop up in the stable version.

Samsung mentioned that an error may occur during installing this beta build, so please take a backup of important data before upgrading your phone to the One UI 4.0 fourth beta update. Moving to the goodies, the ZUL4 beta arrives on the foldables with a major fix, yes, I am talking about the booting into recovery mode or safe mode after upgrading to the stable patch. Apart from that the update comes with Kiwoom securities app fix and links not opening in select apps.

  • Fixed the phenomenon of booting into safe mode or entering recovery mode after update
  • Link does not open in some apps such as Instagram and Facebook
  • Kiwoom Securities app does not run

The Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Flip 3 users will get the latest build beta OTA notification once available, in case, you’ve not received any notification, then you can move to the Settings > Software upgrade and check for new updates. At the time of writing, the update is available in Korea, will be available in other regions in the coming days.
