Samsung kicks off One UI 4.1 update for Galaxy A52 5G, Galaxy Z Flip, and Z Flip 5G

Just a few days ago, Samsung officially shared a list of Galaxy phones eligible for One UI 4.1 update. Working on the same, Samsung has started pushing the new update to the eligible models. Before moving ahead, One UI 4.1 is already available for some Galaxy phones including the Galaxy Note 20, S21 series, S21 FE, Z Fold 3, Z Flip 3, M31, and Galaxy M32. Now the update goes live for the Galaxy A52 5G, Galaxy Z Flip, and Z Flip 5G. Read along to know more about it.

One UI 4.1 is now finally available for the Galaxy A52 5G, Galaxy Z Flip, and Galaxy Z Flip 5G. The latest update is rolling with a slew of new features, improvements, and a big list of fixes. So, if you’re facing any issues on the previous version, you can update your phone to the new One UI 4.1 update.

At the time of writing, the update for all three phones is seeding in a couple of European countries and will join other regions in a matter of time. Samsung is pushing the new build to Z Flip and Z Flip 5G with F700FXXU8GVC2 and F707BXXU6GVC2 firmware numbers. While the Galaxy A52 5G picks up the new firmware with the A526BXXU1CVC4 software version.

Obviously, it is a big update and also receives more data comparing monthly incremental updates. It weighs around 1.2GB in size. Moving to the features and changes, then Samsung kicks off the new OTA update with March 2022 security patch alongside the Google Duo live sharing feature, new image editing features including reflection and shadow eraser, share multiple files simultaneously using Quick Share feature, Grammarly integration to Samsung keyboard, and more features. As for now, the complete changelog is not available to us, but we’ll add it once available to us.

If you are using the Galaxy Z Flip, Z Flip 5G, or Galaxy A52 5G, then you may have already received the update. If not then you can expect the update in a few days as it is a phased rollout that takes time to be available on all devices. You can check for the update manually by going to Settings > Software Update.

If you want the update immediately, then you can also manually install the update using firmware. You can download the firmware from Frija toolSamsung Firmware Downloader. If you are using one of the tools then enter your model and country code and download the firmware. Once downloaded, you can flash the firmware using Odin Tool. Then flash the firmware to your device. If you want to do so, then I recommend you take a backup prior to diving into the process. That’s it.
