Samsung has recently released the One UI 7 beta for its latest flagship Galaxy S24 series. The initial One UI 7 beta comes with a long list of new features, but it’s likely we haven’t seen everything yet. A new leak has emerged suggesting Samsung may be working on some more One UI 7 features.
Ice Universe claims that Samsung is working on AI Audio Eraser which will be a One UI 7 feature. As of now, this feature is not available in the first public beta of One UI 7. But according to rumors, Samsung has started testing this feature internally.
You might be familiar with the AI Audio Eraser feature as Google released a similar feature as Audio Magic Eraser for select Pixel phone earlier. It removes distraction and noise from videos. And Samsung working on adopting the same feature on Galaxy phones maybe with some additional features.
The AI Audio Eraser will let users choose the volume level of four different things, which includes voices, wind, music and crowd noise. There will be slider for each of them. The feature should be available in the Gallery app for users to use.
We don’t know if this feature will be available with the first stable One UI 7 build or in a later build. But now we at least know that this cool AI feature is coming to Galaxy phones next year.
As for eligibility, my guest is that it will be available for all Galaxy AI eligible devices.
Audio Eraser on Pixel phone works great and if Samsung brings a better version or even matches the Pixel’s feature, it would help in many situations. What are your thoughts? How much would you rate your desire for this feature on a scale of 1 to 10?
