Samsung is on the roll with the latest Android 13 and One UI 5 rollout. The South Korean tech giant is continuously rolling out the stable Android 13 for its Galaxy phones. And after back-to-back updates, Samsung releases the Android 13 and One UI 5 update for Galaxy Z Fold 2. It is already rolling out for the third and fourth generation foldable.

Usually, Android phone brands take almost a year to release major updates for all their eligible devices. And when it comes to Samsung, the company has been always impressive, but this year Samsung has been just amazing.
The second-gen Galaxy foldable is currently getting an update in Europe. To be specific its available in Germany and the UK. But soon the update will be available in other regions as well. Galaxy Z Fold 2 Android 13 is rolling with build number F916BXXU2IVK3. The foldable was released in 2020 with Android 10. And so it makes the Android 13, the second major update for the device.
Talking about new features, One UI 5 comes with a long list of changes. If you are a Galaxy Z Fold 2 user, you can expect changes such as new lock screen customization, a new set of wallpapers, improved animations, larger widgets, improved multitasking, and more. Since the foldable comes with a different form factor you will get the update optimized for both tablets and a phone. Since most of the changes are the same as updates for other Galaxy phones, you can check the changelog here.
If you are a Galaxy Z Fold 2 user in Europe you can expect the update soon if you haven’t received it already. For other regions, it can take a couple of more days. However, you can check for updates manually to update your device as soon as it’s available. To check, go to Settings > Software Update > Download and Install.
