Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4 gets One UI 5 Beta 3 Update

According to the official roadmap shared by Samsung, several Galaxy phones are scheduled to receive the stable One UI 5 update in November. And the Galaxy Z Flip 4 is also on the list. After two beta updates, Samsung releases the third beta of One UI 5 for the Galaxy Z Flip 4. Let’s find out more about the new beta update for the Galaxy Z Flip 4.

Apart from this, the OEM has recently released a new beta for the Z Fold 4. Mostly Samsung releases updates for Z Flip and Z Fold on the same day. And the same happened with the beta 3 update. You can check the Z Fold 4 update information on this page.

The Galaxy Z Flip 4 One UI 5 Beta 3 update comes with a build number ending with ZVK1. This is the same software version as the beta update for the Galaxy Z Fold 4. The beta update is available in multiple regions and will also be available in the remaining regions soon.

Talking about changes the beta update only comes with bug fixes. It was expected as the device will soon be getting a stable update. It fixes battery drain, camera app issue,s and more. Check out the changes below.

Bug Fixes:

  • Battery consumption fast
  • Forced close when setting the shortcuts on both sides while editing the lock screen
  • Korean is not entered when connecting BT keyboards
  • Status bar disappear
  • Samsung Pay does not run as a gesture in a folding state
  • Camera app forced close
  • Cover screen ratio and function error
  • Other minor bug fixes

As Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Galaxy Z Flip 4 are the latest premium phones, these are expected to get the update first among phones scheduled for November. And so the beta 3 could be the last beta update for both foldable. Galaxy Z Flip 4 and Galaxy Z Fold 4 could get a stable update soon, maybe next week.

If you have a Galaxy Z Flip 4 and joined the One UI 5 beta program then you will receive the third beta as OTA. You can check for the update by going to Settings > Software Update > Download and Install. From here you can get the latest update available. If you are on the One UI 4 version, then you can wait for stable One UI 5 which will release soon.

Before updating your phone, make sure to backup your data and charge it to at least 50%.
