Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 starts getting stable One UI 6 Watch update

Early this month, Samsung officially kick-started the stable One UI 6 Watch stable rollout to older models. The company has already released a big software upgrade for the Galaxy Watch 5 and Watch 6 lineup. Now, the tech titan has started rolling out the Wear OS 5 based update for the Galaxy Watch 4 series.

If you own the Galaxy Watch 4 or Watch 4 Classic, you can finally upgrade your watch to One UI 6 Watch based on Wear OS 5. In June, Samsung announced the beta program for the Watch 4 lineup and later released a bunch of incremental upgrades to enhance the user experience.

The update is ready for public rollout, the stable version is already available for beta testers. A broader release is expected shortly, and non-beta users should begin receiving the update within the next few days.

One UI 6 Watch-based Wear OS 5 is a massive upgrade for Galaxy Watches, it includes Galaxy AI and a big list of new features. Talking about the other features, then it enhances the battery backup, more personalized health insights, enhanced sleep tracking, Thumb and index finger double touch gestures, faster scrolling, universal gesture support for quick launch, and many others.

If you own the Galaxy Watch 4 or Watch 4 Classic, you can check new software updates in the Galaxy Wearable app. To check new updates, you can navigate to Galaxy Wearable app > Settings > Software Updates. If the update is available you can download and install it on your watch, if not, you can wait for a few days.
