Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 3 gets Android 12 based One UI 4.1 Update

Samsung is undoubtedly the best OEM after Google when it comes to Android updates. Mostly all eligible Samsung phones have already received the major Android 12 update. And Android 12 is now available for the Galaxy Tab Active 3. This Android 12 comes with One UI 4.1 update. Here you will get to know everything about Android 12 for Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 3.

Galaxy Tab Active3 is a rugged tablet from Samsung. The tablet was released in 2020 with Android 10 based One UI 2.5 update out of the box. And later last year, Galaxy Tab Active 3 received Android 11 based One UI 3 update. So the Android 12 is the second major update for the tablet.

The Android 12 based One UI 4.1 for Galaxy Tab Active 3 comes with firmware build T575XXU3CVD1. It is currently rolling out in Switzerland but soon we can see the update in other regions. Since it is a major update, it weighs more than regular updates. Android 12 update for Galaxy Tab Active 3 also brings the March 2022 Android Security Patch.

Talking about new features, we don’t have the complete changelog as of now. But you can expect features such as color palette, GIFs & Emojis quick selection, new widgets, and many other changes. You can check out the full changelog below.

If you are a Galaxy Tab Active 3 user in Switzerland, you will soon receive the Android 12 update on your tablet if you haven’t received it already. As usual, it is a staged rollout which means the OTA update will take time to reach all eligible devices. You can manually check for the update by going to Settings > Software Update.

Make sure to take a full backup of your phone and charge it to 50% at least.
