Samsung has just released the anticipated Android 13 based One UI 5.0 update for its A-series tablet – Tab A7 Lite. The affordable tablet starts getting the new update with a slew of new features and changes.
At the time of writing, the update is seeding in a dozen of European countries – Austria, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czechia, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Spain, Slovakia, and the United Kingdom. The update also goes live in select Asian countries including Taiwan, Hong Kong, and China. Samsung plants the new firmware on the Galaxy Tab A7 Lite with the T220ZCU1CVL5 and T225XXU1CVL5 build numbers.
One UI 5.0 is the second major software upgrade for the Tab A7 Lite. The tablet was released last year with Android 11, it received the One UI 4.1 upgrade earlier this year, and now is the time for yet another software upgrade. If you own the Galaxy Tab A7 Lite, then you can upgrade it to the Android 13 based One UI 5.0 OS.
Samsung kicks off the new update with the November 2022 monthly security patch and a bunch of new features. Moving to the changes, then the tablet receives the new update with features such as lock screen personalization features, new wallpapers, widget stacking, new modes and routines, improved multitasking, smoother animations, and many more. Now if you are using the Galaxy Tab A7 Lite and want to update it to the latest software, then you can navigate to Settings > Software Upgrade > Download and Install, now if there’s a new update, then you can install it on your phone or you can wait for a few days and check back later.
