Samsung Galaxy S21 FE and F14 are now receiving Android 14 update in India

Just a few days ago, Samsung kicked off the Android 14 rollout for the Galaxy S21 FE in the US. Later expanded the rollout to countries in Europe, today, the tech titan has expanded the anticipated update to India. Yes, you can finally upgrade your Galaxy S21 FE to Android 14-centric One UI 6.0 software upgrade.

Before moving to more details, just want to mention, the update also goes live for the entry level 5G smartphone, dubbed, the Galaxy F14. Last week, Samsung rolled out the update for the M-series rebranded model, the Galaxy M14.

Samsung is seeding the new software on the two popular phones with a bunch of new features and changes. The update will bump up the monthly security patch to November 2023. As it is a major OS upgrade, it weighs 2.4GB in download size on the Galaxy S21 FE; you can expect the similar sizing on the Galaxy F14.

Samsung is pushing the new software to the Galaxy S21 FE with G990B2XXU5FWK3 build number; whereas the Galaxy F14 picks up the new firmware with E146BXXU2BWL1 build number. As always, the update is currently in a rolling phase and will be available to everyone in a matter of time.

In terms of features, One UI 6.0 update for Galaxy F14 and S21 FE comes with features like redesigned Quick Settings, more customization controls on the lock screen, a new One UI Sans font, new emojis, a new media player, separate battery settings, and many more.

Whether you own the Galaxy F14 or Galaxy S21 FE, you will receive the over-the-air update notification on your device once the update is available for you. You can always manually check for new updates by navigating to Settings > About device > Software update > Download and install.

Make sure to that a backup of important data before installing the new update on your device. Also, charge your phone to at least 50% in case of failures.
