Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite starts receiving stable Android 12 Update

Samsung users are lucky as they are receiving a stable Android 12 update ahead of its scheduled time. Galaxy S10 Lite is the latest Samsung phone to receive the Android 12 based stable One UI 4.0 update. Talking about Android 12, Samsung has covered most of the eligible flagship phones. And now Samsung has also started pushing the update to its high range but affordable phones.

Not only fast updates but Samsung has also done a great job by bringing most of the Android 12 features in its own custom OS One UI 4.0. Users are quite impressed with Samsung. The OG Galaxy S10 series got the update just before the new year and after a week it finally became available on the Lite variant.

The stable Android 12 for Galaxy S10 Lite comes with build number G770FXXS6FULA. The build number is for Spain and it can vary for different regions. And as it is a major update for the device, don’t be surprised if the update size is larger. If that’s the case make sure to use WiFi or check if you have enough mobile data.

Galaxy S10 Lite Android 12 update comes with many new features of Android 12 as well as One UI 4.0. You can check what you can expect from the update in our One UI 4.0 changelog. Some of the features include new widgets, very smooth animations while opening and closing of apps, overhauled quick panel, automatic dark mode for wallpapers, icons, and illustrations, new charging animation, and much more. At the time of writing, the update changelog is not available to us.

The Galaxy S10 Lite One UI 4.0 update is currently rolling out in Spain but soon will be available to other regions. If you have a Galaxy S10 Lite, you will receive the OTA update considering you haven’t installed a custom ROM or rooted your phone. In case if you don’t get the update notification, go to Settings > Software Update to manually check for the update. Make sure to charge your phone to at least 50% and take a full backup of your phone.

If you want the update immediately, then you can also manually install the update using firmware. You can download the firmware from Frija toolSamsung Firmware Downloader. If you are using one of the tools then enter your model and country code and download the firmware. Once downloaded, you can flash the firmware using Odin Tool. Then flash the Galaxy S10 Lite firmware to your device.
