It’s the first week of 2024 and Samsung has already released the anticipated Android 14-centric One UI 6.0 update for entry-level M-series smartphone, dubbed, the Galaxy M13 5G. The update is rolling out with many new features and changes, read on to know about the new update.
Samsung Galaxy M13 5G picks up the new software upgrade with the M136BXXU5DWK7 version number and is currently seeding in India. A wider rollout to commence in a matter of time. The phone was originally released with an Android 12 update, last year, it picked up the Android 13 update and now is the time for a second major OS upgrade.
Samsung is pushing the new software upgrade with the December 2023 monthly security patch alongside the new One UI 6.0 features. Talking about the features, then One UI 6.0 comes with redesigned Quick Settings, more customization controls on the lock screen, a new One UI Sans font, new emojis, a new media player, separate battery settings, and many more.

If you own the Galaxy M13 5G, then you can now upgrade your phone to Android 14 update. At the time of writing, the update is in a rolling phase and will be available to everyone very soon. You will receive the over-the-air update notification on your device once the update is available for you. You can always manually check for new updates by navigating to Settings > About device > Software update > Download and install.
Make sure to that a backup of important data before installing the new update on your device. Also, charge your phone to at least 50% in case of failures.
