Samsung Galaxy F23 starts receiving Android 14 Update

Samsung continues the impressive One UI 6 update run. The company releases stable Android 14 update with One UI 6 for the budget Galaxy F23. Many Galaxy phones have already received the update in the last few weeks. And remaining phones, including older entry-level phones, are expected to join the list in the next month or two.

The Galaxy F23 is a budget phone that was released in early 2022 with Android 12 OS. The device has already received its first major update in the form of Android 13. And finally it is getting the second major update Android 14 through One UI 6.

This update was first spotted by Twitter channel SamsungSWUpdate. The software update page in the screenshot says that the stable One UI 6 is available for beta users. This means that beta users will be the first to receive the update, with a broader release expected in the coming days.

Android 14 update for Galaxy F23 is rolling out with build version E236BXXU5DWL2. For beta users it weighs around 500MB, but for other users it will be around 2GB or more. This stable major update also brings latest December 2023 Android security patch.

Talking about new features, if you are a beta users you may not get to see a lot of difference because most new features were already available through beta builds. But users who upgrade from Android 13 will see the update with a huge list of new features. As of now the official changelog list is not available, but we know its going to be same as the update for other Galaxy phones that you can check out here.

As mentioned earlier, the Android 14 for Galaxy F23 first rolling out to beta users in India. But it will be available to everyone starting in a few hours or days. So if you own a Galaxy F23, ensure to check for the update regularly. You can check for the update by going to Settings > Software Update > Download and Install.

Before updating your phone, make sure to take a full backup and charge the device to at least 50%.
